Cultivating Gratitude: Building a Culture of Thanks

A Special Thanksgiving broadcast

How do we recognize, practice, and generate a culture of gratitude?

Thanksgiving in America is a time when it is culturally acceptable to focus on gratitude rather than acquisition. We spend time appreciating what we have, who we can share our lives with, and the greater world around us. As educators, we can cultivate this ‘attitude of gratitude’ in ourselves, in our students, and in our classrooms. In this webinar, Amy will explore different ways to think about thankfulness and share practices that we can do for ourselves and with the teens we teach, mentor, and parent.

Each month in The Conscious Classroom Webinar, Amy shares reflections and practices that are working for several thousand teens in classrooms in Philadelphia. You’ll learn tools and perspectives that will support you and the teens you teach or mentor or parent.
